Everything You Need to Know We’re seeking a commercial Finance Business Partner to be responsible for tactical and strategic asset planning areas, as well as the management and development of the CCS Programme Affordability reporting and controls. As the Finance Business Partner, you will manage programme affordability finances, including AMP level forecasts, budgets, and output targets. You will provide timely financial information to enable interventions and identify opportunities within the programme and across Severn Trent. Representing programme finances at senior meetings and presenting materials at approval boards and Capital Committee will also be part of your role. Further Responsibilities Include: Partner with our Group Transformation division, for capital portfolio management, decision support, budget, business plans, and forecasts. Integrate various performance plan elements to ensure alignment across capital programme delivery areas. Develop and maintain modelling capabilities. Review and challenge new business cases and large investment plans. Develop and train on decision support tools. Monitor outcomes and outputs of Water Investment plans and apply learnings for future interventions. Present regular updates on capital cost vs. forecast. Identify risks and opportunities across varying divisions within the organisation and develop mitigation plans. Manage and report on OB/Contingency/Risks. Support with Transformation, Transition & Mobilisation activities. Support and review business case development, testing assumptions and benefits. Collaborate with finance to embed key assumptions and efficiencies. Ensure proposed changes are understood and integrated into finance processes. What You’ll Bring to the Role You will be a fully qualified finance professional with experience working at a senior finance level in a fast-paced and highly commercial environment. You must be comfortable making risk-based decisions, leading compliance with policies and controls, and challenging non-value add activities, providing practical solutions. You will have line manager experience, with the ability to inspire your team to achieve objectives across a complex programme.
