THE ROLE
As a Sales Engineer within the South of England, you will manage a portfolio of existing customers within the Utilities and Water industry, working directly with end users as well as third-party consultancies. You will provide technical solutions and specifications to problem-solve or assist with larger system designs. The role involves selling a range of hydraulic valves, flow control products, and control valves used in water systems, pipework infrastructures, and flood prevention schemes. You will also deliver CPD seminars to engineering consultants and project teams within the building services industry. A proactive approach to networking and uncovering further opportunities within your stakeholder network is essential. Key to success in this role is an engineering background or experience in flow control systems, hydraulics, or industrial valves and controls.

This is a perfect role for a salesperson with a mechanical engineering bias or someone used to working on design and solution-based projects with key customers. Minimum Requirements:
* 3 years or more working in a technical field sales or sales engineer type of role
* Experience of selling a mechanical engineering solution, pitching CPDs and specifications
* Ability to present technical solutions and offer trusted expertise
* A consultative, driven, and professional salesperson with good attention to detail
* Understanding of mechanical engineering, hydraulics, or valves is desirable
Salary:
Up to £50,000 basic salary, plus up to £10k OTE, company car, mobile, laptop, 24 days holiday, pension scheme.
