We’re Hiring: Purchase Ledger Team Leader | Horsforth, Leeds Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for leading and developing a high-performing team? We’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join our growing business in Horsforth. In this hands-on role, you’ll take ownership of the purchase ledger function while leading and mentoring a team of up to 4 people. You'll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations – all while driving continuous improvement and supporting the wider finance function. Location: Horsforth, Leeds (with flexible/hybrid working available) Type: Full-time, permanent Team: Managing a team of up to 4 Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the purchase ledger team with day-to-day operations Oversee invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliations, and payment runs Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency Act as the key point of contact for supplier queries and internal stakeholders Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve individual and team goals Support month-end close and reporting activities as required ? What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role Strong people management or team leader experience A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail Strong systems knowledge (ERP systems, Excel) Confident communicator with a problem-solving mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
