Loughborough College is seeking an experienced and passionate Trainer Assessor to join our team, delivering high-quality ICT/Digital apprenticeship programs.
We are looking for an individual who can inspire and guide apprentices as they develop essential skills for success in the ever-evolving world of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
As a Trainer Assessor, you will play a vital role in supporting apprentices through their learning journey, offering tailored guidance and assessment to ensure they meet their apprenticeship standards and achieve their career goals.
Key responsibilities of the role:

* Assess and monitor apprentices’ progress against agreed learning outcomes and apprenticeship standards.
* Provide constructive feedback to learners, supporting their continuous development.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant awarding body requirements, internal policies, and quality standards.
* Work closely with employers to support the apprenticeship journey, ensuring a collaborative approach to learner progression.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, learner progress, and documentation in line with college and apprenticeship framework requirements.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* A strong background in ICT, with demonstrable experience in IT support, networking, software development, or related fields.
* Previous experience in delivering apprenticeship programs or vocational training is desirable. Relevant qualifications in ICT (e.g., Level 3 or higher) or a degree in an ICT-related field.
* Assessor qualifications (e.g., A1 or TAQA) are preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
* A passion for supporting learners and a commitment to helping them achieve their full potential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload of learners effectively.
* A full, clean driving license and the ability to travel to apprentices' workplace locations.
If you are passionate about delivering high-quality training and assessment to apprentices and are eager to help shape the next generation of ICT professionals, we want to hear from you!
