Role Purpose
The role of the Senior Account Manager is to work across several of the agency’s key clients, on both a campaign and retained client basis. The Account Manager will be responsible for delivery and execution of quality creative work predominantly on Social, but should have experience in other channels. This person will be a leader, be a trusted contact for the client and will be able to own a room, a production and a publishing plan. This role is most suited to a candidate who prides themselves on attention to detail, loves to throw themselves into a project and thrives in a fast-paced, high energy environment. You will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
● Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Act as the main point of contact and manage client expectations throughout the lifecycle of projects.
● Being an escalation point for clients where needed
● Project Management: Oversee the timely and successful delivery of our services according to client needs and objectives. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. Working in collaboration withe the project management team.
● Proofing content ahead of submission to the client to ensure that it meets their strategy, brand objectives and guidelines.
● Campaign execution across social, digital, and traditional media. ● Leading in the management and briefing of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that every piece of work created is of the highest quality and meets the creative expectations of the campaign.
● Strategy Development: Contribute to strategic planning and ideation sessions to enhance campaign effectiveness. Understand clients’ business goals and propose innovative solutions to meet their objectives.
● Identifying any further opportunities to secure incremental revenue increases from existing clients.
● Financial Oversight: Manage budgets and campaign resources effectively, ensuring profitability and reporting on ROI to stakeholders.
● Taking a lead on financial management and budget tracking across accounts - working with the production & projects teams to ensure that client projects and campaigns are coming in within budget - ensuring this is reported to the leadership team.
● Support on forecasting and reporting client revenue, margin and profit for all clients to the Senior Leadership Team.
● Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment to encourage professional growth and high performance.
Keys Requirements:
● Experience: Minimum of 5 years in account management, preferably in a digital or social media agency.
● Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at project management software, and a strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
● Attributes: Proactive, leadership-oriented, client-focused, and detail-oriented. Ability to handle multiple client accounts and projects under tight deadlines.
