Manton Heights Care Centre are recruiting into their housekeeping team, for Domestic and Laundry Assistants.
The main duties and responsibilities will be:
1. To ensure that the removal of all waste is in accordance with the agreed procedures.
2. The cleaning of all floor areas, damp dusting and thorough cleaning of all furniture, fixtures, and fittings (moving light equipment if necessary).
3. The cleaning of all sanitary areas.
4. The cleaning of internal paintwork, doors, window frames, skirting boards, etc.
5. To abide by all COSHH regulations, colour coding, and to clean and store all domestic equipment in accordance with agreed procedures.
6. To adhere to the cleaning schedule.
7. To work as part of a team, attending staff meetings and training if required.
8. To respect client's independence, privacy, and dignity.
9. To maintain appropriate records accurately.
10. To foster good working relationships.
11. To communicate effectively with all grades of staff.
12. To maintain both business and client confidentiality.
13. To take care of the building and report any defects or repairs.
14. To carry out deep cleaning throughout the home as required.
15. To adhere to IP&C regulations.
16. Before the end of shift to check that all floors have sufficient linen (towels/bedding, etc).
