Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Radiographer to join the Radiotherapy Operational Management team at University Hospital Southampton in supporting our Satellite services team and shaping the direction of our service delivery.
You will be involved with the daily operational management of the Radiotherapy department, leading the running of the Basingstoke Satellite service and covering the wider service at Southampton. The successful applicant will contribute to our workforce strategy, machine organisation and education policies.

Qualifications, knowledge and experience
* Study at Master level or equivalence
* Degree in Therapeutic Radiography / Diploma of College of Radiographers with specialist experience and courses
* HCPC Registration
* Change management and implementation skills
* Management & leadership experience
* Highly developed clinical expertise within the context of a busy radiotherapy service
* Evidence of well developed communication skills both up and down the organisational structure
* Evidence of working at a senior level within a Radiotherapy Department
* Evidence of evidence based service improvement
* Ability to manage a complex project
* Project management/educational experience
* Understanding of wider cancer agenda and NHS commissioning structure
* Project work towards SoR Accreditation
* Defined area of specialist practice/experience with caseload management
* Experience of working with staff in a management capacity
* Evidence of teaching / training skills
