Role Overview:
As an Asbestos Operations Manager, you will oversee the safe and compliant removal of asbestos, ensuring projects adhere to regulatory standards. You will manage and train a team of 15-20 members, enforce health and safety protocols, and maintain accurate project documentation. Your role also involves coordinating with clients to meet project requirements and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Necessary:
- P402 and P405 qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the Asbestos Industry

Responsibilities:
1. Operational Performance: Ensure the achievement of all agreed operational performance targets in accordance with key business objectives, service plan objectives, and contractual obligations with each client.
2. Commercial Performance: Ensure the achievement of all agreed financial performance targets (turnover, gross profit, and net profit) in accordance with key business objectives and service plan objectives.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Foster positive, productive, and long-lasting relationships with clients. Act as the main operational point of client contact and provide advice on all aspects of asbestos management.
4. Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management through the line management structure, ensuring high standards in line management activities.
5. Health & Safety: Embed a strong health and safety culture within the field-based team through appropriate induction, ongoing training, and briefings.
6. Management Information: Produce appropriate standardized monthly management information for the team (balanced scorecard) and clients (KPI reports) to ensure contractual targets are met.
7. Auditing: Support the delivery of robust auditing processes and instill a compliance culture within the field-based team.
8. Advice and Consultancy: Provide advice, consultancy, and training to clients in conjunction with the Head of Asbestos and Technical Manager (Asbestos).
