Your new roleIn this role, you will carry out various types of electrical work. Experience with industrial-type installations would be advantageous SWA cables and metallic containment systems.
16. Carry out installation of electrical equipment from LV to 132kV. Working on the Scottish Power DNO Network Working on HV Private Networks Ability to panel wire to a high standard Install multi core cabling Install containment for electrical systems.
About youEssential qualifications/ skills/ experience
17. A thorough Understanding of Electrical Power System.
18. (preferred) Previous experience working on a DNO network/ HV private networks
19. Good organisational skills
20. A hard-working, trust-worthy and self-motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude
Ability to work unsupervised, using own initiative and be able to work to set deadlines
Strong communication skills, able to liaise with colleagues and management
Desirable qualifications/ skills/ experience
Industry-recognised electrical qualifications
18th Edition regulations
Inspection testing qualifications preferred
Scottish Power authorisations desirable including:
SR-3/4 Receive & Clear PFW, LWC
WI-1 Work on isolating plant/apparatus including work adjacent to living apparatus
EN-1 Independent entry to substations with exposed live conductors
