Interim Management Accountant Greenock, Hybrid Competitive Day Rate LHH is thrilled to partner with a leading organisation in the public transport sector to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is a dynamic role where you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the organisation’s financial health. You’ll take ownership of preparing management accounts and financial reports, support the budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver actionable insights to senior management for strategic planning. Key responsibilities include: Conducting variance analysis and managing cash flow. Driving cost control and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Analysing financial data to inform business decisions and offering financial guidance to departmental managers. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement. We’re looking for a motivated professional with: A recognised accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. A minimum of two years’ experience in a management accounting role. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
