Take on a pivotal role in their Coventry office, supporting on a wide range of Monthly Accounting activities whilst overseeing the payroll ledger for a combination of weekly and monthly employees. Working hours are 8.30 - 5.00 but flexibility can be offered (i.e - 8.00 - 4.00 / 9.00 - 5.30 / 9.30 - 6.00). Please note this will be an office-based role Primary Responsibilities: Reconciliation of 10 bank accounts, encompassing 4 currencies. Support in debtors and creditors activities as needed. Assist in intercompany reconciliation. Undertake ad-hoc duties at the request of the Group Financial Controller. Accurately record and produce weekly, monthly, and salaried payroll. (Approx 5 - 10 hours a week) Timely reporting of pensions and meticulous record-keeping of deductions, including CSA. Submission and accurate record-keeping of P32/FPS/EPS. Generation and posting of Payroll Journals for month-end reporting. Precise calculation and submission of P11D/Annual leave accruals. Regular update of headcount. Monitoring the Payroll Email box, and handling queries effectively. Assistance with end-of-year accounts preparation. Key Requirements: Good, rounded transactional finance experience Previous experience in managing complex payroll processes. MUST HAVE Familiarity with Sage payroll systems. Adaptability to changing payroll ledger sizes. Experience in onboarding new payroll systems/acquisitions is desirable. Eagerness to acquire new skills.
