Who You Are
You are a senior level marketing professional with a proven track record in B2B marketing strategy, ideally within sectors such as legaltech, banking, law, accounting, or insurance. You combine strategic thinking with a “do-er” mentality—you not only design compelling marketing blueprints but also roll up your sleeves to bring them to life. Your expertise in brand strategy and re-design ensures that our brand remains fresh, relevant, and resonant with our target audience. We aim for this role to have the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Marketing Leadership
* Develop comprehensive B2B marketing strategies that align with our business objectives.
* Analyse market trends and competitive landscapes to find new growth opportunities.
* Establish clear performance metrics and continuously iterate strategies based on measurable outcomes.
* Brand Strategy & Re-Design
* Lead the evolution of our brand identity through a creative refresh of identity, visual assets and messaging.
* Collaborate with Product, Sales, CS and marketing teams to craft compelling brand narratives that resonate with target audiences.
* Iterate brand positioning consistently to reflect our innovative approach and industry leadership.
* Campaign Development & Execution
* Strategise multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, content, and event platforms.
* Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns, from concept development to final delivery.
* Monitor campaign performance in real-time and optimize tactics for maximum impact.
* Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Product, Sales, CS and marketing teams to ensure cohesive marketing initiatives.
* Act as a liaison between departments to align messaging and strategic goals.
* Maintain clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders to drive coordinated efforts.
* Hands-On Execution of Operational Excellence
* Take an active role in project management by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
* Translate strategic plans into actionable tasks with precision and attention to detail.
* Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing operations and drive measurable results.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
* Demonstrated experience in developing and executing marketing strategies within a similar sector. Experience in legaltech is a bonus, as is background working with banks, law firms, accountants, or insurance companies.
* Proven skills in brand strategy and re-design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to refresh and reposition brands effectively.
* A “do-er” mentality who is adept at both strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring that plans translate into action and measurable impact.
* Strong analytical abilities paired with creative problem-solving skills, enabling you to assess market trends and adjust strategies proactively.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
* A comfort working in a part-time capacity, with the agility to manage priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
The desirable candidate will have:
* Additional experience within sectors such as legaltech, banking, law, accounting, or insurance, and possesses familiarity with advanced digital marketing tools and automation techniques.
