Junior Test Support Engineer
Fulltime - Up to £30,000 DOE - Cheltenham - 37.5 hours weekly.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Engineer with technical customer support or testing experience. The Junior Test Support Engineer will be customer-focused and responsible for efficient testing facilities, procedures, and supporting projects.
The Role:
* Technical Customer Support, liaising with customers and conducting testing.
* Work collaboratively with inter-group projects, and with the Project Engineers on NPI & CPI testing to required standards. Documentation entered onto CRM consistently.
* Takes ownership of the continuous improvement and development of the testing facility.
* Provide audit test support and support on project product resourcing.
* Support the development of test plans and procedures for hardware products.
* Coordinate external certification and accreditation of products.
* Ensure adherence to company Health & Safety requirements and housekeeping standards.
The Person:
* One year experience in technical customer support or testing related role - proactive, not reactive. Would suit an inquisitive, investigative type.
* Exposure/Experience of PLM system - Team Centre (Desirable).
* Exposure/Experience of ERP/MRP System - Microsoft AX (Desirable).
* Competent in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint.
* Great communicator with strong planning and organisational skills.
* Customer-focused, problem solver.
* Hands-on engineering skills and competency with power tools.
* CAD Experience. UK Driving Licence. GCSE Maths & English or equivalent. Higher qualification (Desirable).
