District Sales Manager - Whole of Scotland, minimum 2 days in the Glasgow office.
Company & Role: You will be working for a global logistics company that provides a wide range of services to facilitate the movement of goods and materials across international borders. Some of the key services offered include freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehouse and distribution, supply chain optimisation, project logistics and technology solutions. Your main role as District Sales Manager will involve mapping potential new client accounts, identifying key decision makers, prospecting to them, securing either a teams or face to face meeting, where you can identify any issues in their processes, find and sell the solutions. You will be supported with referrals and leads. You will also be managing a small team of District Sales Executives but would also have direct contact with others for support on meetings F2F / Teams.
You may be required in the office on Mondays and Fridays for staff meetings with the remaining days on the road and working from home. Requirements:
1. 4+ years selling B2B services, open on industry / sector experience e.g. Recruitment Background / Waste Management / Logistics is a bonus.
2. Experience in consultative selling, not price driven - need to add value in the product / service and have clear demonstration of doing so.
3. A natural relationship builder and problem solver.
4. Minimum 2yrs in a Team Leader type of environment.
Benefits:
1. Up to £70,000 basic, dependent on experience.
