We’re looking for a passionate senior video editor and creative with an extensive level of technical skill, and the creative flame to think beyond your limits. Your workload will focus on tackling our biggest and most technical creative challenges for our wide range of clientele. In this role you’ll play a pivotal part of a growing team of editors, providing guidance, and support where needed while helping to bolster the core team that continually delivers above expectation. This is an in-office, full-time position on a 12-month contract, with the expectation of offering a FT role thereafter to the right candidate. Daily Responsibilities Your day-to-day will include working with your wider creative team or producer to continually push the boundaries of what’s possible. This will include, but isn’t limited to: Edit and produce high-quality videos and clips for our clientele, ranging from video podcasts, to high octane short-form content with the intention of driving retention, engagement and growth. Collaborate with Producers to ideate, plan and edit engaging long and short-form content. Continuously aim to innovate with new ideas for videos, content strategies, thumbnails that keep an audience engaged. Work with the wider team on ideas to retain and grow existing viewership, followers or subscribers. Ensure you meet your deadlines, and KPI’s while remaining organised and efficient. Respond to feedback from Project Leads and Producers, as well as provide clear and actionable feedback to less experienced team members. Support our wider team ensuring that we maintain and improve our quality and consistency across the business. Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. Existing extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro. A strong understanding of online culture, trends, gaming and gaming related content. Knowledge of industry leading audio tools like Izotope, Adobe Audition or similar software. Excellent communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills. A passion for learning, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Prior experience managing a small team. A degree, relevant qualification, or industry experience in Video Production, Digital Media Production, Motion Graphics, Animation, or related fields. Nice to Haves A Masters Degree in Video Production, Digital Media Production, Motion Graphics, Animation, or related fields. Knowledge in production and post-production podcast editing Experience with 2d & 3d software such as Cinema4D, Blender, After Effects, Unreal Engine.
