Main duties of the job
We are looking for a Band 5 nurse with an active NMC PIN to join our respiratory research Team. You will ideally have respiratory experience, but we would be delighted to hear from you if you have experience in other specialties all the same. Previous research experience is not essential as comprehensive training and support will be given.
You will join a team with a track record of successful research study delivery and have the opportunity to help develop exciting new treatments and care for our patients.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We would like to hear from you if you:
• have a current NMC registration,
• have post-registration experience in an NHS (or equivalent) clinical setting,
• can demonstrate an interest in working in clinical research, and
• can show excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our service usually runs Monday to Friday in office hours, though we may require you to work weekend or night shifts depending on the needs of the service.

* Registered Nurse on relevant part of the NMC register
* Venesection and cannulation
Knowledge and Experience
* Evidence of on-going professional development
* Post registration experience in a relevant clinical speciality
* Recent NHS experience or equivalent
* Understanding of personal accountability
* Provide evidence of teaching and supporting learners in practice
* Clinical Research experience
* Ward/department management experience
* Knowledge of UK Policy Framework for Health & Social Care, ICH/GCP
* Experience as an NMC sign-off mentor or clinical practice assessor
