A well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong presence in transport, infrastructure, and environmental planning is seeking a Graduate Air Quality Consultant to join their London team. The Company
Our client is a highly respected consultancy that provides specialist services in transport planning, infrastructure design, flood risk assessment, acoustics, civil engineering, and air quality consultancy. They work across both the public and private sectors, delivering projects that shape the built environment while promoting sustainability and compliance.
The Role
As a Graduate Air Quality Consultant, you will be involved in a wide range of projects across the UK, including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments. You’ll assist in the preparation of air quality assessments, dispersion modelling, environmental statements, and technical reports to support planning applications and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting senior consultants with air quality assessments using modelling software (e.g., ADMS-Roads, AERMOD, ADMS-5)
Air quality monitoring
Reviewing planning policy and relevant environmental legislation
Contributing to environmental impact assessments (EIAs)
Undertaking site visits and data collection
Preparing technical reports and liaising with clients and local authoritiesCandidate Requirements:
A relevant degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline – preferably with a dissertation focussing on Air Pollution
A strong interest in air quality, environmental impact, and sustainability
