Interim HR Business Partner - National

Hours per week: 36 Monday – Friday, 09:00 - 17:15
This opening assignment is for 3 months
City: NORWICH
Looking for candidates who have large scale change experience. Would prefer someone from a Housing background but not essential.
Minimum 3 months, depending on the pace at which the change process move could be longer and potentially move to FTC until end of March 2025.
Work flexibly between the office and the home, with most of the team working the majority of time from home. The office is available for people to work from if they prefer. Meet in person once a month in either Norwich or London and outside of this, London or Norwich travel would be dependent on stakeholder meetings, but on average two-three times a month.
Currently have a team of 7 HRBP in place, that are very traditional business partnering roles, focused on liaising with key stakeholders in the business and supporting the delivery of their strategies and then being that linchpin back into their wider HR function to support on reward queries or talent queries.
The candidates must be comfortable with large scale change and have supported either individual teams or a whole business through change. Essential that they have an understand of laws/practices and have extensive knowledge working in a unionised environment alongside collective consultation, terms and conditions and use of the Korn Ferry evaluation method.
Key Responsibilities:
Build trusted, strong relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders in the business. Influencing management teams in best practice HR to support business plans and objectives.
Provide strategic and day-to-day HR leadership to the business to help drive delivery of the HR Strategy.
Use experience, skills and knowledge to make a positive impact and facilitate key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and performance management.
Assist in building strong talent pipelines and drive the resourcing plans within the designated business area(s).
Work with Management teams to ensure that organisational talent is defined and developed within; dealing proactively with high and low performance. Able to challenge the status quo and hold moderation sessions.
Provide up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates; provide input in respect of developing policies in line with current legislation and keep up to date with HR best practice and workplace trends.
Agree the strategy for case management to ensure that risk is managed effectively for the group.
Advise both the business and HR team on complex ER matters.
Interpret people's data and analytics to assist the SMT with the measurement of trends and patterns, which influence decision-making and help drive continuous improvement and increase performance.
Identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering HR solutions aligned to business objectives and values.

Qualifications:
A degree or equivalent experience
CIPD part or fully qualified - desirable
Knowledge:
Demonstrable knowledge of current thinking in Human Resources issues and trends and evidence of Continuing Professional Development;
Experience:
Relevant and demonstrable HR experience (generalist or specialist) gained in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders.
Previous experience of operating in a business partner model, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes.
Managing large scale change programmes such as TUPE or reorganisations.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to be flexible in your approach.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to all levels of the organisation.
Ability to lead in the day-to-day operations of the business and also on specific projects.
Ability to think strategically and to contribute to the implementation of new programmes and initiatives.
Demonstrable commercial insight and the ability to manage and identify risks
Excellent relationship building and influencing capability.
Considerable attention to detail and experience of using data to inform decision-making.
