Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) + annual bonus & benefits
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow, Permanent
Office Attendance: Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office, 2 days per week for this position.
We deal in the personal – from pet insurance for your best friend, and home insurance for peace of mind, to motor insurance for your dream car or travel money for that trip you’ve worked hard for. And that means we always work with heart.
We’re looking for a Copywriter to join our Insurance Money and Services team.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Content Creation: Write drafts of and edit content in line with organizational style guidelines for the CRM team’s marketing materials, as well as servicing communications.
2. Marketing Communications: Assist with the development and delivery of CRM marketing communications to support the business plan and provide information to our customers.
3. Brand Positioning: Apply brand guidelines and inform the organization on the importance of brand alignment and positioning.
4. Performance Management: Prioritise own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
We need you to have:
1. Great copywriting skills for marketing materials - with a drive to write information for customers using plain English, replacing jargon and complicated wording where possible.
2. Strong collaboration skills – you’ll need to co-ordinate with several other colleagues to create and deliver brilliant CRM campaigns.
3. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, ensuring we create clear and impactful customer communications.
4. Great organisational skills – you’ll often be juggling multiple campaigns and priorities.
And if you have any of these, even better:
1. An understanding of the insurance industry
2. Experience working in a financially regulated environment
3. Experience of writing for servicing communications
4. Previous experience working in a customer service role
5. Previous experience in a marketing role
