This role heads up the D2C department (Direct to Consumer), which covers all online ecommerce fulfilment operations as well as some other direct to consumer, in store operations and Project The team needs to support all of the UK and Ireland D2C business with internal customer and external customer/vendor management related with Logistics operation both transportation and warehousing. The team is responsible for the smooth running of day to day Logistics operations ensuring that the D2C customer happy as well as support the short/mid and long term business planning such as operation capacity planning with sales forecast and innovation/project for operation improvement. Role and Responsibilities Your key responsibilities Planning, Implementing and leading D2C Logistics environments across the business a fit for purpose IT strategy that underpins the business strategy Management of D2C warehouse, carrier & partner performance with logistics team Support Customer order exception / claims management Planning for the peak / black Friday and new flagship model launching event Working with the D2C logistics team in internal and external part such as 3PL/4PL Drive continuous improvements to service levels and implement solutions to increase work efficiencies for D2C logistics operation Responsible for the overall service quality of Logistics NPS and drive continuous improvement plans to improve logistics related NPS score Management of day to day operation and monitoring with defined SLAs Regular meetings with internal and external D2C team to share details of local projects/initiatives and be up to date with HQ projects/guidelines/policies Provide regular status reports and raise issues to senior management Working closely with business stakeholders and establishing a good relationship Occasional out of hours working for abnormal event to minimise disruption What we need for this role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Broad experience in handling Logistics operation & Systems in large organisations Comfortable working with off-shore teams in different time zones and from different cultural backgrounds Ability to clearly communicate and align with HQ security policies Up to date and familiar with the latest Logistics technologies and trends Solution focused and dynamic approach to problem solving Business awareness, hands-on management style and excellent written/verbal communications Experience leading and managing projects and operational support teams, experience of working across Logistics operation areas What does success look like?
