About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work 1:1 with three different children throughout the week:
• Monday & Tuesday: Supporting a Year 2 student with minimal learning needs but with an EHCP.
• Wednesday: Assisting a Year 4 student with severe learning needs (no behaviour concerns, just learning support).
• Thursday & Friday: Helping a Year 2 student with moderate learning difficulties, particularly in reading, focusing on academic progress.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Providing personalised academic support.
• Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to support learning plans.
