Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)
Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions.
If you have electrical installation knowledge or experience, or are eager to start a career in this field, and hold an Electrical Engineering diploma or similar, this opportunity offers structured training leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, along with sector-specific certifications.
As a trainee, you'll work closely with experienced engineers to install, maintain, and test traffic signals and related electrical equipment in Gloucestershire. Training includes on-the-job, desk-based, and online learning.
Who you are:
Interested in field-based engineering with some exposure to electrical installations, or eager to start a new career. No experience necessary if motivated and willing to learn.
