Self Employed Financial Adviser, Reading (BP-1339)
Our client has a new and rewarding opportunity for a qualified Financial Adviser to join its new office in Reading.
The firm already has a large and successful team based in London and is looking for ambitious and passionate advisers to expand its reach into Reading.
The firm has a strong culture of developing and nurturing its financial advisers with a track record of helping its advisers to achieve revenue in excess of £100K in the first year.
The Role
1. Provide consistently excellent standards of financial advice to prospective, new, and existing clients.
2. Maintain effective and mutually beneficial ongoing relationships with clients.
3. Maintain and continue to develop technical (financial services and sales) skills to the highest levels.
4. Support the practice leadership with sales management inputs as required.
5. Operate according to the sales policies and processes of the firm and adhere to the Code of Professional Standards.
The firm is offering a highly competitive and generous package:
1. A compensation scheme which equates to 70% -80% of new business revenue.
2. Middle office and back office support.
3. Canary Wharf-based office, when required.

Relevant Skills and Knowledge
1. Will be highly motivated with a strong desire to continue their professional development.
2. Have a proven track record of acquiring and retaining clients.
3. Have a passion for building long-term relationships with clients.
4. Demonstrate an ability to provide sound investment advice in a professional and articulate manner.
5. 1 - 2 years of previous advisor experience.
6. Track record of generating at least £40,000 in new business revenue per year.
