Course Information Assistant Ref: 95471 Location: Wakefield College with occasional travel to Selby College and Castleford College Salary: £26,085 - £27,673 pro rata Hours: 37 hours per week This is a temporary post until February 2026 We have an exciting opportunity for a Course Information Assistant to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Course Information team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge. In this role, you will be the first point of contact that potential learners will have with the Colleges, so a friendly and professional approach is a must You will offer support to colleagues and all prospective students. You will be required to attend internal and external activities such as Careers events and Open Days, which may be out of regular office hours. You will be required to: Provide an excellent, professional and efficient service to all staff, students and visitors Contribute to maintaining effective streamlined procedures, processes and systems to improve the service provided Record all enquiries on the client information database, and track, follow up and report on these enquiries Represent the College at open events, exhibitions, careers conventions, and other recruitment events As a Course Information Assistant, you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will have: GCSEs in English and Maths, Grade A-C/9-4 An IT qualification e.g. CLAIT, ECDL or equivalent, or significant IT experience Experience of working with data and using databases Experience of working in a customer service environment This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
