• Provide the analysis to enable Networks to optimise and evolve networks so that they are economical and serve our customers well - the foundation of a secure profitable business, today and tomorrow.
• To ensure that the CFUs understand the cost base of their products, and are competitive in the market.
• To ensure that accurate inputs are provided to support the publication of the BT Group Regulatory Accounts.
• To ensure that BT can respond to mandatory requests from Ofcom when required to do so.
What you’ll be doing
• Deliver effective, impactful modelling and consultancy to "Networks" team, wider Technology team and BT Group. Demonstrate engagement and key contributions in projects important to platform scorecards.
• Accurate and timely input to BT Group Regulatory Accounts. Provide inputs, review with BT Group and appointed external auditors.
• Produce 21C Product Unit costs for CFUs. To enable the CFUs to understand their cost base, set pricing and compete for major customer bids.
• Within the Network Optimisation Unit we will achieve significant network efficiencies (capex/opex cost reductions) which deliver savings, by driving through policy, planning and technology options working in partnership with Architects and Platforms within Networks.
