We are looking for someone who will inspire our students to develop a personal commitment and a genuine passion for, developing their health and wellbeing through PE and Sport.
Students at Rosebery experience a broad, balanced and ambitious PE curriculum, focusing on maintaining their health and well-being, building confidence and competitiveness, whilst developing skills across a number of different sports and activities. Our PE curriculum blends practical performance with theoretical understanding in a welcoming, innovative and supportive setting, providing joy to our remarkable students. The teaching team work collaboratively to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported and challenged.
The extra-curricular programme at Rosebery is extensive, allowing students to further their interests and enrich their school experience, with clubs and squads competing at both district and county level. All members of the Department are committed to leading clubs and team practices and attending competitive fixtures.

What we are looking for:
• An excellent practitioner who will deliver engaging and challenging lessons of Core PE to students of all abilities in Years 7 to 11 and preferably also at GCSE and A-level.
• A role model for outstanding teaching, who strives continually to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
• Someone with high standards of communication and interpersonal skills, committed to working as part of a team.
• Someone with the ability to motivate both students and their peers, with a proven track record in achieving excellent student progress.
• A passion for extracurricular activities and sports teams. Although not essential, we are particularly interested in those with a specialism in football and dance.
• A passion for student welfare.
