Job summary The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Podiatry Team are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, HCPC registered Advanced Podiatrist to join their department for a fixed term period of 12 months. This post covers the Hexham area of the trust. This role is perfect for an experienced band 6 clinician or an existing band 7 clinician with relevant experience. The Successful applicant will have the skills and ability to work within specialist MSK team and demonstrate experience of working in the field of Biomechanics. Applicants must show evidence of completing or working towards completion of a Band 7 competency programme. A commitment to staff development, including working with students, and delivery of an efficient high quality podiatry service is essential, with the applicant being aware of professional and national guidelines, be up to date with current evidence-based practice and be able to demonstrate their participation in Continued Professional Development, research and clinical audit. The post holder will work with other clinicians in the MSK team across the locality, delivering specialist biomechanics care.
