Job Purpose and primary objectives:
As an Data Migration Lead, you are responsible for the extraction, transformation, load and reconciliation (ETLR) of HR, payroll and talent data required to facilitate the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors HCM (EC & ECP modules) across the customer ecosystem and its component business units legacy data sources and platforms, and with the different phases and module roll outs, You are expected to define and deliver the overall project data migration plan, and detailed phase DM plans including key data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for mock data load cycles, SIT, UAT, PPR, MPT and cutover(s).
You are expected to bring and apply your extensive expertise and experience in delivering the data migration extraction, transformation, load and reconciliation cycles within a SuccessFactors HCM implementation and specifically around UK ECP data migration. You need to be hands-on and establish good practice and discipline in the day to day delivery of the Data Migration workstream and be focused on achieving the outcomes and results required.
Acts as an arbitrator, as needed, to bring the appropriate parties together to drive discussions to decisions in a timely manner.
Communicate schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
•Defining the scope of the Data Migration - understand the target system data requirements (SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules, including EC & ECP modules). Agree source to target mappings, Define the data extract requirements from the source systems and obtain business approval. Define the scope of data migration – Master, Standing and Transactional Data.
•Deliver under the DM WSL the day to day deliverables of the data migration workstream, including data extraction, transformation, loading and reconciliation (ETLR) activities within a SAP SuccessFactors HCM environment. Manage and work with the legacy HRIS teams to extract and validate the required data from legacy source systems (iTrent, Resource Link etc)
•Support the delivery of data migration strategies and solutions within SAP SF environments as the Data Migration workstream lead
•Data quality: Auditing existing data sources, identifying quality issues, and implementing improvements within a SAP SuccessFactors HCM environment.
•Data validation: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of migrated data within a SAP SuccessFactors HCM environment. Assist with the resolution of data migration defects / Data migration troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and resolving data migration issues
•Data migration testing: Supporting testing of migrated data, including unit testing, SIT UAT, PPR and MOT within a SAP SuccessFactors HCM environment. Perform payroll / financial reconciliations on behalf of the business for PPR and obtain approval for deployment
•Data migration documentation: Documenting migration processes, procedures, and lessons learned
•Data migration collaboration: Collaborating with business stakeholders, SI team (Delaware), and technical team. Ensure business approval at all stages is obtained and evidenced to the programme PMO office
•Data migration expertise: Staying updated on the latest SAP SuccessFactors technologies and best practices in data migration

Key Skills/Knowledge:
•Proven expertise in ETLR methods for Data migration within SAP SuccessFactors HCM implementations with at least 3 full lifecycles of Data Migration spanning Unit, SIT, UAT, PPR, MOT and Cutovers.
•Proven expertise with ETLR for SAP SuccessFactors HCM modules including EC and ECP, and specifically for UK ECP proven experience of successful end to end PPR/payroll parallel runs.
•Proven expertise and experience as a Data Migration workstream lead within SAP SuccessFactors HCM implementations including planning and leading standard DM activities such as: scoping, planning, cleansing, migration, validation and reconciliation
•Highly knowledgeable and experienced in managing HR data migration projects in SAP SuccessFactors environments
•Strong understanding of SAP HR data models, EC and ECP configuration, and integration points.
•Proficiency in SAP/SF data migration tools such as LSMW, SAP Data Services, and other ETL tools
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, effective communication and people skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, functional consultants, and senior leadership
•Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively manage issues, and solve complex problems in a demanding environment
•Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations related to HR data preferred.
•SAP certifications in data management or related areas are a plus.
Experience required:
•Overall 12+ years with at least 7+ Year of migration experience
•Hands-on Experience working in SuccessFactors ECP and payroll migration projects
•Should have worked with customer business and IT teams
