Job Overview
To help tender telecommunication site builds, manage variations, issue and agree final accounts.
To help manage Acquisition and Design costs and support Acquisition Surveyors and Designers commercially throughout each project.
To help manage supplier and subcontractor costs, purchase orders and variations.
Help manage client valuations and invoicing.
Support the Commercial team with end-to-end responsibility from Tender to Final Account.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Support the pricing of mobile telecommunications sites; Rooftop, Street works and bespoke solutions such as installations within historic buildings with the help of the Commercial team.
2. Help deliver financial targets as set out by the Senior Management team.
3. Capture variations and issue Final Accounts for approval and liaise with client QS’s until agreed.
4. Negotiate and agree tenders with supply chain partners (Subcontractor and suppliers).
5. Negotiate and agree Final Accounts with Sub-contractors.
6. Report cost value analysis to the Commercial Manager.
7. Manage client expectations.
8. Support build managers in making cost decisions.
9. Promote and comply with health and safety within the workplace to ensure the safety of staff, clients, and others.
10. Be expected to operate all relevant IT systems required to efficiently produce documents and manage contracts.
11. Able to visit sites nationally if required.
12. Keep Internal Database and reports up to date and produce reports for the Commercial Manager.
Must Have:
* General computing knowledge.
* Valid driving license.
* Working to an HNC or Higher Degree in Quantity Surveying or applicable qualifications is preferable.

Site visits may be required. While relevant training will be provided, the candidate should be physically capable of fulfilling such tasks.
