We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive electrical and electronics systems development. We are recruiting for a Graduate Application Engineer to support the automotive electronics and body electronics team. Your responsibilities - Component Control unit validation/testing - Vehicle level testing - Component releasing - Supplier management - Component development through the complete life cycle - Interfaces to relevant systems and subsystems stakeholders (internal and external) - Support of the Customer Plants during Prototype build and Production start incl. travelling to plants when necessary - Interaction with other engineering teams, suppliers and the customer - Project resource planning, cost tracking and reporting - Meet project milestones for delivery to support product development - Appreciate vehicle development cycle What you bring along: Degree in Automotive engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar Flexibility to take on diverse technical tasks in the work environment Ability to maintain a work plan and ensuring program timing is met Ability to self-manage personal workloads Ability to work within a team and as an individual Ability to act independently and proactively Support management and project team reviews experience Electronic/software product development experience Understanding vehicle network standards (CAN, MOST, LIN) Understanding communication protocols and OSI standards ·Successful candidates need to be eligible to work in the UK, hold a UK driver’s license and be able to travel to Europe and internationally.
