Senior Commercial Manager
A chance to join a big UK defence business on a key strategic contract and programme. This needs someone with strong UK defence business facing into MoD and other UK customers.
£65,000 - £75,000 + £6k Car Allowance + up to 25% Bonus
This will require travel to the north of England 1-2 days a week initially and then dependant on the contract (average 2-3 times a month). This can be expensed with overnight stay included.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract and Project Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of key business contracts, ensuring smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
* Growth: Support and manage both UK-based and international markets, identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion.
* Team Leadership: Guide and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and drive business success.
* Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain and Operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
* Continuous Improvement: Champion initiatives for continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices throughout the business.

* Strong experience in the UK defence sector facing into customers.
