Exciting opportunities have arisen to join the Rotherham Hearing Impairment Team as a Communication Support Worker. We are looking for people with a passion and commitment to making a difference to children’s lives.
The Rotherham Hearing Impairment Team is looking to appoint two dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Communication Support Workers to join our experienced and well-established committed team.
We are a specialist team of education professionals who support children and young people from 0-25 years across the Rotherham Borough within the home, pre-school, school, resource base, and college settings, supporting the educational, social, and emotional needs of Deaf/HI children and young people.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the educational, social, and emotional needs of Deaf/HI children and young people.
2. Promote independence in all young people.
3. Travel to different schools as required.
Qualifications:
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Qualification in British Sign Language.
3. A full Driving Licence and access to a car.
