Job Description
The Quality & Assurance team is responsible for the Heathrow Solutions' approach to Quality management, focusing on driving quality implementation throughout the programme and project gateway processes, with scope across Heathrow as well as Heathrow's supply chain.
The Quality Manager is a pivotal role in continuing the transformation of the Heathrow Solutions' approach to quality management, assisting the Head of Quality & Assurance with the implementation of quality management principles, policies, and requirements across the portfolio to ensure right first-time performance that supports capital efficiency in Heathrow's Capital Investment Portfolio.
This role requires strong leadership and high energy to inspire and work with the Programme & Projects team and will involve advising and influencing colleagues across Heathrow, particularly Directors, Programme and Project Managers, and Quality Leads within the supply chain.
Responsibilities
* Maintain Heathrow's Quality framework to support effective Quality Management across the portfolio, promoting awareness and guidance on its implementation.
* Implement a Quality regime to ensure consistent application of quality requirements across Heathrow's Capital Investment Portfolio.
* Collaborate with the Heathrow Portfolio Management Office (HPMO) leadership team and other senior stakeholders to ensure the Programme Governance Framework (PGF) and Heathrow Gateway Lifecycle (HGL) provide an efficient and progressively assured lifecycle.
* Contribute to optimizing Safety Performance across the business through effective application of Quality practice.
* Lead and support other Quality Managers, Assurance Managers, and support staff across the Quality & Assurance team.
Qualifications
* A Quality Management Professional with extensive practical experience in managing a Quality Management System in large complex environments.
* Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
* Able to work with ambiguity and demonstrate resilience and determination.
* Experience as a successful team leader and/or line manager.
* Ability to deliver in a complex and demanding business environment.
* CQI Chartered status or CQI Practitioner working towards being Chartered.
Ideally, you'll have:
* ISO9001 Lead Auditor training with experience in implementing and managing a quality audit process.
* Experience in engineering, operations, and/or project and programme management.
