What will I be doing?
The Aerospace Heat Treatment Operative is responsible for carrying out heat treatment processes on aerospace components to achieve the required mechanical properties, hardness, and metallurgical characteristics. The role involves operating furnaces, monitoring temperatures, applying appropriate heat treatment cycles, and ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and specifications.
Availability required to work weekend shift.

Job Requirements
Heat Treatment Operations:
* Perform heat treatment processes such as annealing, hardening, tempering, stress relieving, and case hardening on aerospace components.
* Set up and operate heat treatment furnaces, ovens, and quenching equipment according to technical specifications and work instructions.
* Monitor and control temperature, time, and atmosphere settings to achieve desired material properties.
* Ensure proper loading, unloading, and racking of components to prevent distortion and defects.
AMS2750 (Pyrometry) and Nadcap requirements knowledge (Essential)
