We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and dedicated individual to join our growing Non-Invasive team with a speciality in Echocardiography.
We are part of a dedicated Cardiac Centre, including a Cardiac Ward and state of the art Cardiac Catheter Lab with an excellent multi-disciplinary team. Diagnostic Cardiology is a small, friendly department and we are very proud of the quality of services we offer including; Trans-thoracic Echo, Stress Echos, Trans-Oesophageal Echo, Specialist Valve Clinics, Diagnostic Coronary Angiography, Pacemakers, CRT and Implantable Loop Recorders. We provide tailored training and support for trainees across a range of entry routes, including the Apprenticeship and STP programmes. We actively encourage staff progression and support staff to obtain / maintain professional accreditation for echo or pacing. Our Diagnostic Cardiology staff consists of a mix of cardiac physiologists, cardiographers, assistant technical officers and administrative support staff.
Main duties of the job
It is essential that the applicant holds BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent, and in addition holds BSE Accreditation or equivalent. This post will involve a degree of managerial responsibilities; therefore, experience in leadership or management roles would be desirable.

Person specification
Education and Qualifications
* ASCST diploma or equivalent
* Degree in Clinical Physiology, or equivalent
* Possession of BSE Accreditation
* RCCP or HCPC registration
* Intermediate Life Support Certification.
Experience and Knowledge
* Advanced knowledge / experience in cardiac diagnostics.
* Proficient in performing and independently reporting: Provocative ECG, Ambulatory monitor recordings, Internal Loop recorder downloads, Urgent and planned complex device implant and follow up or adult echocardiography, Carry out diagnostic angiography
* Experience of project management
* Current experience in advanced practice
