We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Lead to join our team at The Weetabix Food Company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding diverse projects from initial idea to successful completion, ensuring seamless alignment with our overarching business strategy and unique needs.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become a vital part of our team and take on the thrilling challenge of leading capital investments. You will collaborate closely with our Capital Projects Manager to develop and roll out strategic initiatives.
Your primary goal will be to ensure that the deployment of Weetabix Capital funds is perfectly in sync with our business objectives. This will involve conducting comprehensive examinations of project goals and defining the full scope of work, guaranteeing adherence to all required specifications for tender submission.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct transparent tender processes for project proposals, confidently managing terms and conditions while expertly handling contract negotiations.
* Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to align on budget and schedule, guaranteeing smooth execution of projects.
* Navigate project risks, resolving scheduling conflicts and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
* Assess and approve RAMS, conduct essential training for onsite work management, and oversee high-risk activities to meet legal requirements and company policies.
* Efficiently conclude projects, summarizing post-completion benefits and accomplishments, and obtaining necessary approvals to adhere to UK legislation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Appropriate safety qualifications (MSTS, FAAW, and IOSH).
* Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
* Showcase exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including quick comprehension of business processes and technical requirements, to provide optimal solutions.
* Strong alignment to the Weetabix values.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
