Job summary King's Medical Centre are seeking an experienced healthcare assistant to work 25 hours per week over 5 days, including extended hours of late nights and occasional Saturday mornings. Healthcare Assistants assist both registered nurses and GPs, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing services to the whole practice population. Supported by the clinical team within the practice they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. Main duties of the job Responsibilities The HCA will work collaboratively with the whole team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policies and procedures whilst managing their own workload to deliver the practice priorities. The main focus of the role is to undertake clinical activities in accordance with training and competencies.
