Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This role requires hybrid working with access to air-gapped office systems as needed. Candidates must live within commuting distance of one of our designated offices: Leatherhead, Reading. Some out-of-hours outage support may be required (agreed in advance).
Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on key infrastructural changes across a range of technologies and tools, benefiting the entire programme. You will be working in an Infrastructure as Code environment, leveraging automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT infrastructure.
2. Ensuring stability, security, and scalability of systems and services.
3. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshooting complex issues.
4. Collaborating across teams to develop and maintain best practices.
