Role Purpose:
Allwyn operates a Three Lines of Defence model. As part of the first line, you will participate and feed into the Central Second line and Third line of Defence's risks universe to enable an aligned and integrated assurance approach. The primary responsibility of the role is to support the functions, and the wider Assurance team to implement a robust forward-looking Assurance framework.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Embed the Assurance, Compliance and Risk frameworks and objectives across Technology, Data and Security.
2. Support the Technology, Data and Security Function to ensure effective implementation, execution and monitoring of the wider National Lottery licence conditions.
3. Ensure the integrity of regulatory reporting obligations within the TD&S Function.
4. Provide assurance primarily to governance committees on the effectiveness of the control environment.
5. Ensure Strategies, Policies, Processes and Procedures remain fit for purpose and up to date.
6. Identify and meet the company direction with regards to adopting standards and demonstrate Best Practice.
7. Enhance and make efficient Allwyn's Self-assessment control framework.
8. Ensure the maintenance of Self-Assessment and Risk Register activities.
9. Act as the conduit between the Assurance Function and the Technology, Data and Security teams.
Key Measures of Success:
1. Operating with integrity and staying independent.
2. Assurance activities are supported by adequate documentation, peer reviews and quality checks.
3. TD&S team risk register is up to date and has appropriate sign off as scheduled.
4. TD&S team self-assessment activity is up to date and completed as scheduled.
5. Delivery of activity to support Outcomes Based Decision Making (OBDM) and wider business assurance requirements.
6. Monthly reporting is delivered on a timely basis.
