Pharmacy Administrator – Formulary, Interface and Medicines Safety

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator within our Pharmacy Department. We are looking for a skilled Administrator to provide administration support to a large established team.
The main focus of the role will be to support the Formulary, Interface and Medicines Safety Team with administrative duties including data input and analysis, production of reports and accurate, detailed minute taking.
The ideal candidate should be organised, precise and calm under pressure, have excellent Office IT skills including Excel and Word, experience in minute taking, HR and E-Roster System would be an advantage.

· To support the Principal Pharmacist - Interface & Formulary Services (also referred to as the Formulary Pharmacist) and the Medicines Safety Team with administrative duties:
• To work closely with the Formulary Pharmacist to keep all aspects of the Milton Keynes (MK) Joint Formulary up to date.
• To assist in the management and monitoring of the MK Joint Formulary and interface duties.
• To provide the Formulary Pharmacist with reports and analysis of medicines use, e.g. Non-Formulary Drugs (NFDs) usage within the Trust. This will include data collection, data input, data analysis, production of reports and any other administrative duties.
• To assist the Formulary Pharmacist with administrative duties in relation to the Area Prescribing Committee (APC) and Formulary Subgroup, including accurate and detailed minute taking.
• To support the Medicines Safety Team with data input, analysis, report production and any other administrative duties.
• To ensure the pharmacy service complies with the Information Governance, Clinical Governance and Quality Assurance agenda of the Trust.
