Role
Support the procurement team on day-to-day activities including resolving supplier non-conformance, and invoicing queries, new supplier sourcing and tender management, contract management, in line with existing procedures, managing and analysing procurement data.
Responsibilities
* Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to guarantee timely and quality deliveries
* Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, including terms and conditions, service level agreements, and performance metrics.
* Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals, ensuring the procurement function supports overall business objectives
* Provide support across multiple functions to resolve supply chain queries. Drive project-level tasks and milestones assigned by the project management team.
* Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, shortages, or supplier instability.
* Implement cost-saving initiatives, conduct price negotiations, and continuously seek opportunities to optimize procurement expenditures
* Ensure that procurement practices adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, ethical standards, and company policies
