Permanent – Full Time (37 hours per week)
Freedom's Networks team have a vacancy for Administration Assistant. The main purpose of the role will be to work within the streetworks team across the North East region.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
* Prepare, submit and update Streetworks licensing applications for emergency and planned works in compliance with current legislation and Local Authority policy
* Review and process any returned documentation received from clients.
* Support commercial and financial processes when necessary.
* Follow mapped procedures for client work processing.
* Raise Purchase Orders where applicable.
* Commercial and administrative involvement with Works Management System and other IT software.
* Assist with general administrative duties.
* Effective communication with various levels of personnel on the framework, internal and external.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong IT Literacy & Numeracy Skills
* Previous experience in an administration role
* Experience with Purchase Order processes - Desirable
* Prior experience or understanding of streetworks permits would be advantageous
