Job Overview
Are you a warm, caring individual ready to make a difference in the lives of older adults? We’re looking for dedicated individuals to provide personalised care and support at Fitzwilliam Court, our extra care service in Hoyland, Barnsley. This role helps older people maintain their wellbeing and lead active, independent lives. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
1. Provide respectful personal care and emotional support.
2. Assist with meal preparation and daily tasks to maintain independence.
3. Support medication management and encourage participation in activities.
4. Foster social connections and respond to changing needs and emergencies.
5. Ensure safe living environments and work with families, health professionals, and housing officers.
Qualifications
Experience in care is desirable but not essential; full training is provided. Key qualities include compassion, reliability, and accountability.
