856GRE Utilities Project Manager Sizewell C, Suffolk Long Term, Full-time £350 PAYE to £490 UMBRELLA per day Job Title: Utilities Project Manager Description & Background: At Sizewell C, one of the UK's largest megaprojects, we are seeking an experienced Utilities Project Manager to join our team. As part of this nuclear new build project in Suffolk, you'll be at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy. The project has obtained planning approval, secured Government financing support, and construction is underway. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, supporting Britain's Net Zero 2050 goals. Responsibilities: Lead and manage all utilities project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets Define and deliver work scope using New Roads and Streetworks Act measures Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring safety compliance Manage internal and external stakeholders and delivery partners Support Utilities Manager in delivering SZC utility strategy Implement best practices in project management Manage utility services including Telecommunications, Potable Water, Foul Water, Natural Gas, and Power Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives Experience Required: Industry knowledge of utility services and project management operations Working knowledge of service avoidance and Safe digging practice (HSG 47) Understanding of utilities Builder Work in Connection (BWIC) and CDM Regulations Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to complete security clearances and CTC checkNew Roads & Streetworks Act Qualification Utilities Safety Card (EUSR) Accreditation National Water Hygiene Accreditation SMSTS Certification Experience in CAD or Microsoft Project Salary, Hours and Location: £350 PAYE to £490 UMBRELLA per day Site-based at Sizewell C, Suffolk Full-time, Long term This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead utility projects within one of Britain's most significant infrastructure developments, working at the forefront of nuclear energy and sustainability in the UK.
