Teaching Personnel have recently signed into a partnership agreement with a Trust of schools based in Greater Manchester – one of which being located in Macclesfield. As such, Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for a number of Secondary School teachers across a range of subjects. There will be multiple roles available (with options of full-time and part-time subject specific roles as well as ad-hoc general cover) from January 2025. The school is an Ofsted Outstanding 11-18 Secondary School in a beautiful leafy suburb and superb catchment area of Macclesfield. They have a supportive network of staff and SLT, they ensure that each member of staff has the tools they require to be able to succeed within their role. What you will need;
PGCE resulting in QTS (in any secondary subject).
Experience of teaching to KS4 (essential) and KS5 (desirable).
Strong behaviour management and high expectations of the students.
Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
Live in (or can commute easily to) Macclesfield.
Both ECT’s and more experienced teachers encouraged to apply.
Pay:
Permanent roles; MPS1 (£31,650 per annum) – UP3 (£49,084 per annum).
Longer-term temporary roles; £150 - £250 per day depending on responsibilities within specific role.
Flexible/Day to day (ad-hoc) general cover; £120 - £140 per day (no planning or marking).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
