Job Opportunity: Plasterer at EQUANS in Oldham
EQUANS is recruiting a Plasterer for a permanent, full-time role based in Oldham. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Role Overview
The Plasterer will perform duties in accordance with statutory regulations, company policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting the team to produce quality work safely, adhering to SHEQ requirements, and maintaining high standards of work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform various plastering tasks such as surface preparation, bonding, skimming, repairing plasterboard, rendering, damp works, and DPC systems, as instructed.
2. Ensure compliance with company quality standards, specifications, and material/workmanship schedules.
3. Provide professional customer care, maintaining politeness and professionalism.
4. Maintain and care for all tools and equipment.
5. Achieve first-time fixes whenever possible.
6. Use appropriate safety equipment and wear suitable clothing/uniforms.
7. Keep work areas clean and tidy daily.
8. Handle company van responsibly per policy and manage keys for communal areas and meters.
9. Coordinate materials and ensure timely completion of documentation.
10. Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
11. Perform any other reasonable management requests.
