Argyll and Bute Council’s ICT Department are seeking an Engineer within the ICT Desktop Team. This is a permanent full-time post, working 35 hours per week and is based in Kilmory, Lochgilphead. This is an exciting role working with a dynamic team which has a strong focus on customer service.
About the role - You will be responsible for providing hardware and software support including first and second-line operational support, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of service requests, issues, and incidents.
You must have up-to-date experience and strong skills centring on Microsoft operating systems, desktop applications, and Microsoft 365 environment. Ideally, you will have experience in scripting and remote support along with excellent customer service experience and overall strengths in technical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
About you - You will have a minimum qualification at HNC level in an IT discipline along with at least 2 years of experience of working in a similar role.
