Reporting to the Engineering Manager the ideal candidate will be a multi skilled Engineer used to working in a fast paced and hands on position, be well organised with the ability to maintain attention to detail whilst working under pressure in a busy working environment. ABP Bridge of Allan are currently looking for a Senior Engineer to come and join our small Engineering Team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: To attend reactive maintenance problems and repair breakdowns in a safe, permanent and controlled manner. To ensure machinery and services are maintained via PPM to meet individual department requirements, utilising the most appropriate maintenance regime. To assist production as an engineer by timely attending any issues which occur during the running of the equipment. Record accurately, information on the CMMS system in relation to planned maintenance and breakdowns, so the information can be analysed to improve the reliability of the asset. Attend meetings when required by the manager To support and manage Engineering projects. Perform Root Cause Analysis to ensure permanent repair. Drive Continuous Improvement to help eliminate weak points or bottlenecks within the business. Liaise and communicate with colleagues and departments. As well as suppliers/contractors. To adhere to SOPs and carry out all tasks to the best of your ability. Ensure all work carried out complies with the relative legislation To be aware of HACCP and ensure all works meet health and safety, and food safety standards. Personal specification: Knowledge and Experience: -The successful candidate should be apprentice trained with a minimum of 5 year experience -Experience of supervising a team -Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment is beneficial or in a similarly demanding working environment -Proven experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installations and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems -Experience in fault diagnosis in a production/manufacturing environment -17th Edition Qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential - Proactive, dynamic and motivational with the ability to deliver results in a fast paced, pressurised environment Skills: Excellent attention to detail Focused and used to working on own initiative First class communication skills
