Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Humanities subjects
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Humanities or related field
* Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Humanities or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary school level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Humanities
* Effective classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school environment, following the academic calendar with standard school hours. Occasional additional hours may be required for extracurricular activities, parent meetings, and professional development sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
