We are looking for: A Facilities Co-ordinator to oversee all activities inside the office, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and arranging for repairs when needed. This role will report to the Infrastructure and Helpdesk Manager and will involve some project work where required. This role requires candidates with a strong background in building maintenance. Your day-to-day responsibilities: Regular inspection of facilities of all areas, particularly for cleanliness and taking corrective and preventative actions where necessary. Ensure that all areas of the building are safe and fit for purpose. Tracking the maintenance of facilities and physical assets, organising and completing preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Ensure that any work that requires third party contractors are monitored and all work is completed satisfactorily and signed for upon completion. Assisting with the the management of office equipment, fixtures/fittings, service contracts, cleaners. Working within an IT team; responsibility for maintenance and management of an inventory of physical assets. Maintain relationships with suppliers of Bank equipment, ranging from IT hardware to office supplies. Support line manager with maintaining database of contracts and correspondence. Responding quickly to emergencies that arise and dealing with them appropriately. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through regular inspections, risk assessments, and policy enforcement. Co-ordinate emergency procedures, address hazards, and promote a safety-focused workplace. Person/Experience required: · Knowledge/experience of building maintenance. · Excellent communication skills, with ability to provide exceptional levels of customer service. · Team player, capable of working in a fast-paced pressured environment. · Ability to build relationships effectively, both in the immediate team and wider business. · Ability to work under your own initiative and to strict deadlines · Able to think outside the box when problem solving · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
